Delete your account
You can delete your Bandwidth Sharing account at any time, yourself, in a minute. Cash out first: a closed account cannot ask for a cash-out.
In the phone app
- Open the app and tap Settings at the bottom.
- Tap Close account.
- Type your password and tap Close my account.
On this website
Sign in, open Settings, then Close account. An account made with Google confirms it with Google first.
If you cannot sign in
Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. A person reads it, and we close the account within a month at the latest, as the law asks.
What is removed, and what stays
- Every device that shares stops within seconds.
- Your sign-in and your email address are removed, and the account cannot be restored.
- Your sessions end on every device.
- The money record stays: every movement of a balance is an accounting record that German law requires us to keep for ten years. It stays without your identity attached; the amounts and dates remain.
